A few notes about our expert tutor and his background

'Reading the New Testament in its original Greek improves my understanding and enriches my walk with God.'
My name is Daniel Mikkelsen, and I am the founder of NT Greek Tutoring. Our company's vision is to provide Christians of all backgrounds with the necessary tools to learn Biblical Greek and to read the New Testament in its original Greek with greater joy and clarity.
For almost a decade I have been studying the New Testament in its original Greek and have received training and education from some of the best universities in the world. This means that I am now reading the Greek New Testament with real joy and great proficiency.
This has not, however, always been the case. My journey with learning Biblical Greek has not been easy as I suffer from dyslexia and a disorder that affects my concentration. Despite these disadvantages, I became interested in Greek about 12-13 years ago while working as a motor mechanic. My interest began a couple of years after I had started to read the Bible more seriously. I struggled to learn Biblical Greek by myself for about two or three years. I could not find momentum and I was unsure what tools I should use to learn Greek properly. This, however, changed when I finally got the hang of it during my Bachelor's in theology about 9 years ago.
This led me on a quest to gain proficiency with Greek to a higher level and I went on to receive over half a decade's worth of top-quality training from prestigious universities such as the University of Cambridge, the University of Copenhagen, and more. My MPhil from Cambridge, specialising in New Testament Greek and exegesis, and my Master's in Theology from the University of Copenhagen, demonstrate my passion and dedication to the field. Currently, I am pursuing my doctorate in New Testament at the University of Edinburgh, where I am conducting research on Paul's understanding of the material of the resurrection body in relation to salvation.
I have used my extensive training, research, and expertise to develop a unique 3-Step framework that can help people of all backgrounds learn to read more than 3 books in the Greek New Testament in about one year. My framework is developed to make people learn Greek in a more engaging and enjoyable way that also enables them to learn Biblical Greek faster than is possible with other more traditional learning styles.
In addition to these academic credentials, I possess extensive experience and knowledge in theology. Notably, I have published a peer-reviewed article in the esteemed Danish academic journal Dansk Teologisk Tidsskrift, which focuses on the resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15.35-58. I also tutored a class on 'Paul and his letters' at the University of Edinburgh in 2023, presented a paper at the Durham Postgraduate Conference in May 2022, and delivered a guest lecture at the University of Copenhagen in October 2018.
Thus, I believe that NT Greek Tutoring is more than capable to help anyone advance their Greek and read the Greek New Testament with joy and confidence.
